Leading the Insurance, Financial Services and Healthcare Group of Infosun, John's focus is on presenting those solutions and services to our customers that provide the most innovative and cost effective combination of advanced technology and industry expertise. John has over 20 years experience in the Financial Services and information technology industries with a combination of insurance companies and large IT services companies such as Computer Sciences Corporation, American National Insurance Company, IMRglobal, and Texas Mutual Insurance. John has been building businesses and business units for much of the past fifteen years, and is committed to providing quality information technology solutions and services that go beyond what is available today to the Financial Services and Healthcare industries.
Rich Swier, Software Practice Group
Rich Swier is manager of Infosun's Software Strategy Group. Prior to Infosun,
Mr. Swier founded Backsoft Corporation, an enterprise software company
specializing in integration software for Global 2000 companies. Mr. Swier
served as Chief Technology Officer for Backsoft and led the development
of technology products sold to corporations including Coca-Cola Company,
Volkswagen, Hyundai and Anheuser-Busch. Mr. Swier also managed operations
as President and contributed to the funding and eventually the sale of
Backsoft Corporation.
Prior to Backsoft, Mr. Swier founded Sarasota-Online, one of the first online city guides, which was acquired by Comcast (CMCSA) in 1996. At Comcast, Mr. Swier contributed to one of the first deployments of the Comcast broadband service, as well as directed the creation of 30 online city guides throughout the Comcast market.
Michael Trimis, Industry Practice Group
After extensive experience in the financial services industry, Michael
Trimis has served as a senior management consultant for over 10 years.
Michael has been involved in the management of all regulatory issues and
reporting mechanisms for the banking industry. His experience within IT
has been utilized for bank outsourcing software, creation and direction
of program management offices, business process redesign, and workflow
processes.
